Our teaching philosophy
Your child starts from their current level rather than their grade
First we check how much your child understands, how they study, what they're covering at school, and what they're aiming for. Class moves quickly through what they already know and spends the time on what they haven't mastered yet.
Your child explains what they understand in their own words
Your child applies new concepts to problems and gives the reasons behind their thinking. In math, they explain each step of a solution. In writing and discussion, they say and write what they think, backed by evidence.
Your child relearns weak concepts and goes deeper on the rest
Tests, homework, and assessment results go into a portfolio. That record shows which concepts your child should relearn and which topics they're ready to take into applied and advanced work.
