What your child writes at the high school level

  • Essays that build a claim from several sources

Your child compares several English sources, picks evidence, cites the sources, and writes an academic essay.

  • Research papers that answer a research question

Your child sets a research question and writes a research paper with evidence and sources from academic papers and research materials.

  • Common App: college application essays

Your child picks experiences that fit the essay prompt, writes so their own thinking comes through, and revises with feedback.

Topics your child reads and writes about

Your child reads English texts on topics like philosophy and ethics, political science, sociology, advanced economics, neuroscience, basic quantum mechanics, and AI technology, and uses them as material for writing. Fields are chosen to match your child's interests and goals.

Math Lab

Math Lab: High School Math

Your child studies Korean high school math for grades 10–11 alongside AP, IB, and A Level math. They skip concepts they've already learned and compare how the same concept appears in Korean textbooks and in international courses.

Your child solves problems on their own and redoes the ones they got wrong

  • Learn Korean terms and English terms side by side

In functions, calculus, vectors, and statistics, your child pairs each Korean term with its English term, such as domain and range.

  • Practice answers in each exam format

Your child solves short-answer, written-answer, proof, and graph-analysis problems in the formats of school tests and AP, IB, and A Level exams.

  • Redo problems they got wrong

Your child finds why they got a problem wrong and works the same type until they can solve and explain it alone.

  • Take on harder problems

Once your child can handle school math alone, they move on to AP Calculus or AMC and AIME problems.

What your child learns in each subject

Each subject covers different high school material and is taught in its own way.

  • Math

Korean high school math for grades 10–11; Algebra II, Precalculus, and Calculus; AP, IB, and A Level math

Your child looks at equations and graphs side by side and explains the reasoning behind each solution.

  • English

School English essays, academic essays, research papers

Your child builds a claim and evidence that answer the assignment's question, then revises both the logic and the English.

How your child's G10–12 class plan takes shape

The plan follows the courses your child takes, whether AP, IB, A Level, or Korean school subjects.

  1. Tell us their courses and exams

Tell us your child's grade, the courses they take, and the exams they're preparing for, and together we'll choose the subjects they need now.

  2. Plan each subject

We look at diagnostic assessment results and exam dates together and set a class plan for each subject.

  3. Use assessments to set what's next

End-of-month assessments and quarterly achievement assessments show what to review and what to study next.

Along with assessment results, we suggest the course your child should take next.
