Registration & Class Prep

Here's what to know before you enroll: consultation and the diagnostic assessment, enrollment and payment, and what your child needs for online classes.

Check what to prepare, then request a consultation.

From consultation to classes and assessments

Five steps: consult with us and choose subjects, check your child's current level, plan classes and assign an instructor, enroll month by month and start classes, and plan the next month from assessment results
  1. Step: Consult with us and choose subjects

What happens: We ask about your child's grade, school curriculum, and goals, then pick the subjects they need right now. We won't push you to sign up for several subjects at once.

  2. Step: Check your child's current level

What happens: A diagnostic assessment in each subject shows where your child is in the material and how well they know it. A learning profile assessment shows how they study.

  3. Step: Plan classes and assign an instructor

What happens: From the results, we choose what your child will learn and which textbooks to use, then assign an instructor who majored in the subject.

  4. Step: Enroll month by month and start classes

What happens: You choose how many classes a week, enroll for the month, and your child has their first class.

  5. Step: Plan the next month from assessment results

What happens: Assessment results decide what to review next month and what to learn next. You also decide each month whether to continue.

Assessments happen every class, at the end of each month, and every quarter. See how you receive results and instructor comments

Diagnostic assessments and fees

Is there a level test or assessment before classes begin?

Yes. Your child takes a diagnostic assessment in each subject and a learning profile assessment, and we plan class content from the results. The diagnostic format can vary by program. See the diagnostic steps and results

Online classes and classes at our Seocho center

LAB.CO teaches mostly online, with in-person classes at our Seocho center in Seoul. You can choose either one based on where you live, your schedule, and your child's learning goals. In consultation, we'll go over whether in-person classes are possible for your child, and when they run.

Plan your child's classes

In an enrollment consultation, we ask about your child's grade and what they're learning now, then decide with you which subjects to assess, the class format, and class times.
